My Story
When I was doing schooling, I would listen and read that the world has become a village. The idea of the world as a global village would reach me through newspapers and television as I would rely on these forms of communication to understand the world. These forms of communication might have done it deliberately to propagate and endorse the acceptance of privatization and globalization by the Indian Government in the early 1990s. At that time, I was very curious to know about the world outside India, especially through news about sports, especially football and Tennis which, in reals sense, are global sports. I am very indebted to these sports which introduced the world outside India. To explore the world more and more and increase my curiousity, I began to look at education as means to achieve the goal i.e. exploration and analysing the world. Since then, I have been using education as a tool to know innumerable shades of the world.
